CARBON CAPTURING

When carbon capturing is normally referred to, CO2 is collected from the atmosphere or fra a incineration plant. This method is expensive and inconvenient, since the CO2 levels in the atmosphere are relatively low, or a retrofit solution is needed on incineration plant.

An efficient and cheaper alternative to this, is Ammongas’ biogas upgrading plants, which separates methane and CO2 efficiently, which sends out a CO2 stream of 99% clean CO2. It is possible to collect the CO2 efficiently and without major problems. By using this method, the CO2, which would otherwise be a waste product, is collected and stored as efficient and cheap carbon capturing.

This method is more efficient than others, and is already producing large quantities of CO2, ready to be collected. A biogas upgrading unit is an efficient and simple way of achieving a high concentration of CO2 for storage.
